AI agents can't verify their own output. They invent commands, reference paths that don't exist, and hallucinate packages, then build on top of the mistake. Check fires as a preflight gate before every command, grounding the agent to your live machine before anything runs. Not a tool call. Not a suggestion. A gate.
Works with Claude Code
Give it to your AI agent or paste it yourself. The installer wires Check as a preflight hook and mints a free key for this machine. Every command your AI runs from that point on gets gated by Check before it fires.
Check sends the command it checks to our edge. It is checked in memory and discarded the moment the verdict returns. Your repository and source files are never uploaded. Command text is stored only for a single internal test key we own, used to produce our own public case studies. For every other user it is discarded immediately. What we keep is your account: wallet balance and a history of charges (when a check ran and whether it passed). Full detail in our privacy policy.
It is not a security tool. It catches what is fake (hallucinated commands, packages, and paths), not what is real but harmful. A valid command pointed at the wrong place is still valid. Run Check alongside a security layer, not instead of one.
The verdict logic runs server-side. Nothing worth cracking ships to your machine. You verify Check by running it, not by reading it.
Results vary by model, project structure, and environment. Check asks your machine directly at each check (PATH lookup, shell parser, npm registry) and forwards the machine's verdict. It does not guarantee any specific outcome or detection rate.
