The short version: you pay only for what you use, your credits never expire, failed requests are not charged, and nothing in these terms takes away the rights the Australian Consumer Law gives you. One wallet, no subscriptions.
GOL Productions ("GOL", "we", "us") operates golproductions.com and the products available through it. We are based in Perth, Western Australia. You can reach us any time at adam@golproductions.com.
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use GOL products. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you use GOL products on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business to these terms.
GOL products are usage-based software tools accessed via API. You buy prepaid credits in Australian dollars (your "GOL wallet"), and each use deducts its listed price from that balance. One API key, one wallet.
Every account receives 120 free checks per day. After the daily free allowance is used, each check costs $0.0068 AUD from your prepaid balance. The free daily allowance is limited to one account per person and one account per device. Creating multiple accounts or circumventing device detection to obtain additional free checks is a violation of these terms and may result in account suspension.
GOL products run deterministic checks against the data you provide and return structured results. Check verifies whether commands, imports, function calls, and syntax are valid against your actual project environment. Results are factual assessments, not certifications: they do not guarantee that any target is reachable, secure, or compliant with any standard. You remain responsible for decisions you make based on product output.
Results will vary depending on the AI model you use, your project structure, your environment, and how the model generates its output. Each user's experience will be different. We do not and cannot guarantee any specific outcome, detection rate, or level of accuracy. Check compares what your AI writes against what exists in your project at the moment of the check — nothing more, nothing less.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" to the maximum extent permitted by law, subject always to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (section 8). We do not warrant uninterrupted availability, and scheduled or unscheduled maintenance may temporarily affect access.
We are working to improve our products all the time. If you experience an issue or something doesn't work as expected, please email adam@golproductions.com so we can investigate and resolve it.
Sign-in uses your email address and a single-use code, with optional two-factor authentication (TOTP). You are responsible for:
If you believe your key has been compromised, rotate it immediately from the console or contact us. You may also revoke all active sessions from the console. We will not be liable for unauthorised usage that occurs before you notify us or rotate your key.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Top-ups are credited to your account automatically once Stripe confirms payment.
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies those guarantees or any other right you have under law that cannot lawfully be changed by agreement.
"Check", the Check API, the GOL name, the GOL logo, and all associated software, algorithms, compiled binaries, validation engines, documentation, test suites, and trade secrets are the exclusive intellectual property of GOL Productions. All rights are reserved worldwide.
You agree not to:
We may suspend or terminate accounts engaged in abuse. If we do, we will tell you why. Unused credits on a terminated account will be refunded except where they were obtained fraudulently or where the account was used to violate these terms.
The API enforces a rate limit of 60 requests per minute per endpoint. You may also set a voluntary daily spending cap in your console. We reserve the right to adjust rate limits to maintain service quality, and will provide notice of material changes.
We process only the data you send to the API plus standard operational data. The details are in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless GOL Productions from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service in violation of these terms, your violation of any applicable law, or your infringement of any third-party right. This indemnification does not apply to the extent a claim arises from our own negligence or breach.
To the extent permitted by law, and subject always to section 8:
We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, internet outages, infrastructure failures at our hosting providers, government actions, or pandemics. We will resume service as quickly as reasonably possible.
If we change these terms we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be flagged in the console or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after the effective date means you accept the updated terms. Changes never apply retroactively to credits you already bought: those keep the terms they were bought under, or better.
These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia. Any dispute arising under these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia, without limiting your right to bring claims under the Australian Consumer Law in any court that has jurisdiction.
