Terms of Service

Last updated 21 June 2026

The short version: you pay only for what you use, your credits never expire, failed requests are not charged, and nothing in these terms takes away the rights the Australian Consumer Law gives you. One wallet, no subscriptions.

1. Who we are

GOL Productions ("GOL", "we", "us") operates golproductions.com and the products available through it. We are based in Perth, Western Australia. You can reach us any time at adam@golproductions.com.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use GOL products. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you use GOL products on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business to these terms.

3. What you are buying

GOL products are usage-based software tools accessed via API. You buy prepaid credits in Australian dollars (your "GOL wallet"), and each use deducts its listed price from that balance. One API key, one wallet.

  • Pricing is shown on the product page and in the console before you pay anything.
  • Check is billed per check, currently $0.0068 AUD.
  • Credits never expire and remain in your account until used.
  • A request that fails to complete is not charged.

4. Free daily checks

Every account receives 120 free checks per day. After the daily free allowance is used, each check costs $0.0068 AUD from your prepaid balance. The free daily allowance is limited to one account per person and one account per device. Creating multiple accounts or circumventing device detection to obtain additional free checks is a violation of these terms and may result in account suspension.

5. What the products do and do not do

GOL products run deterministic checks against the data you provide and return structured results. Check verifies whether commands, imports, function calls, and syntax are valid against your actual project environment. Results are factual assessments, not certifications: they do not guarantee that any target is reachable, secure, or compliant with any standard. You remain responsible for decisions you make based on product output.

Results will vary depending on the AI model you use, your project structure, your environment, and how the model generates its output. Each user's experience will be different. We do not and cannot guarantee any specific outcome, detection rate, or level of accuracy. Check compares what your AI writes against what exists in your project at the moment of the check — nothing more, nothing less.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" to the maximum extent permitted by law, subject always to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (section 8). We do not warrant uninterrupted availability, and scheduled or unscheduled maintenance may temporarily affect access.

We are working to improve our products all the time. If you experience an issue or something doesn't work as expected, please email adam@golproductions.com so we can investigate and resolve it.

6. Your account

Sign-in uses your email address and a single-use code, with optional two-factor authentication (TOTP). You are responsible for:

  • Keeping access to your email account secure.
  • Safeguarding your API key and not sharing it with third parties.
  • All activity that occurs under your API key, whether or not you authorised it.

If you believe your key has been compromised, rotate it immediately from the console or contact us. You may also revoke all active sessions from the console. We will not be liable for unauthorised usage that occurs before you notify us or rotate your key.

7. Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Top-ups are credited to your account automatically once Stripe confirms payment.

  • Minimum top-up: $5.00 AUD. Maximum top-up: $500.00 AUD per transaction.
  • Prices are in Australian dollars and, where GST applies, are GST inclusive.
  • Each top-up is a one-time payment. There are no recurring charges, subscriptions, or automatic renewals.
  • We reserve the right to adjust pricing. Price changes apply only to new purchases, never retroactively to credits already in your wallet.

8. Refunds and your Australian Consumer Law rights

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies those guarantees or any other right you have under law that cannot lawfully be changed by agreement.

  • If a service we supply fails to meet a consumer guarantee, you are entitled to the remedies the law provides, which can include a refund.
  • Outside of those rights, unused credits stay in your account indefinitely rather than being refunded, and requests that completed successfully are not refundable simply because you did not like the results.
  • If we ever permanently shut a product down, we will refund unused credits attributable to it.
  • Refund requests under consumer guarantees should be sent to adam@golproductions.com. We aim to process valid claims within 10 business days.

9. Intellectual property

"Check", the Check API, the GOL name, the GOL logo, and all associated software, algorithms, compiled binaries, validation engines, documentation, test suites, and trade secrets are the exclusive intellectual property of GOL Productions. All rights are reserved worldwide.

  • You may not copy, reproduce, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or create derivative works of any GOL software, including the Check API, compiled binaries, SDKs, or validation engine.
  • You may not use GOL software, protocols, or outputs to build, train, or operate a competing verification or validation service.
  • Client libraries (npm, PyPI) are provided for use exclusively with the Check API. Source availability of the installer does not imply an open-source licence over the compiled truth engine or server-side components.
  • You may not scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from GOL APIs or the website beyond normal product usage.
  • Feedback and suggestions you provide may be incorporated into GOL products without obligation or compensation.

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use GOL products to facilitate any activity that violates applicable law.
  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense API access without our written agreement.
  • Attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the service, including circumventing rate limits or security controls.
  • Attempt to reverse-bill, fraudulently obtain credits, or exploit billing logic.
  • Share your API key publicly or embed it in client-side code where it can be extracted.
  • Create automated or bot-driven accounts to obtain additional free checks or credits.
  • Use the service to probe, scan, or attack third-party systems in a manner not authorised by the owner of those systems.

We may suspend or terminate accounts engaged in abuse. If we do, we will tell you why. Unused credits on a terminated account will be refunded except where they were obtained fraudulently or where the account was used to violate these terms.

11. Rate limits and daily caps

The API enforces a rate limit of 60 requests per minute per endpoint. You may also set a voluntary daily spending cap in your console. We reserve the right to adjust rate limits to maintain service quality, and will provide notice of material changes.

12. Privacy

We process only the data you send to the API plus standard operational data. The details are in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

13. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless GOL Productions from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service in violation of these terms, your violation of any applicable law, or your infringement of any third-party right. This indemnification does not apply to the extent a claim arises from our own negligence or breach.

14. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, and subject always to section 8:

  • Our total aggregate liability in connection with a product is limited to the greater of (a) resupplying the service, or (b) refunding the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, business opportunity, or goodwill.
  • We are not liable for service interruptions, data loss, or errors caused by third-party providers (Cloudflare, Stripe, Resend) or by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
  • Nothing in this section limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability under the Australian Consumer Law.

15. Service termination

  • By you: you may close your account at any time by emailing adam@golproductions.com. We will refund any unused credit balance.
  • By us: we may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these terms, with notice where practicable. Unused credits will be refunded except in cases of fraud or serious abuse.
  • Service discontinuation: if we permanently discontinue a product, we will provide at least 30 days' notice and refund all unused credits attributable to that product.

16. Force majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, internet outages, infrastructure failures at our hosting providers, government actions, or pandemics. We will resume service as quickly as reasonably possible.

17. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be flagged in the console or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after the effective date means you accept the updated terms. Changes never apply retroactively to credits you already bought: those keep the terms they were bought under, or better.

18. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia. Any dispute arising under these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia, without limiting your right to bring claims under the Australian Consumer Law in any court that has jurisdiction.

19. General

  • Entire agreement. These terms, the Privacy Policy, and any product-specific terms displayed at the time of purchase constitute the entire agreement between you and GOL Productions.
  • Severability. If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in full effect.
  • Waiver. Failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
  • Assignment. You may not transfer your account or these terms without our written consent. We may assign our rights under these terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets, provided the assignee honours existing credit balances.
  • No agency. Nothing in these terms creates a partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship between you and GOL Productions.

20. Contact

Questions, complaints, or consumer guarantee claims: adam@golproductions.com. A human reads it. We aim to respond within five business days.
